Hidden San Diego – What’s Your Favorite Secret Spot?

By Sanna Coates

We are overwhelmed with the response we’ve been getting on this month’s Secret San Diego feature —in fact, it’s one of the most shared stories in San Diego Magazine history! If you’ve managed to miss it, here are some of our favorite not-so-secret-anymore spots.

A never-ending staircase: Hidden behind the women’s restroom of Florent in the Gaslamp is a three-by-four-foot room with a staircase full of mirrors, chandeliers, and other goodies.

A solar clock on the Silver Strand: Catch the winter Solstice in Coronado, at this circle of benches that can tell time.

An underwater graveyard in La Jolla:  You’ll need a boat to find it, and no bodies are actually buried here—but these Tombstones outside the coast of La Jolla are well worth the effort.

What’s your favorite Secret San Diego spot? We would love to hear from you! Share in the comments below, or using #secretSD.
