Shake things up August 25-26
Calling all San Diego foodies- from prestigious mixologists to novice cocktail enthusiasts- the 4th annual San Diego Spirits Festival on August 25-26 will be the place to be for all things cocktails, culinary and culture. The Port Pier Pavilion will be transformed into a classic lounge to sip and savor the latest cocktail creations, learn more on the world of mixology or have a small history lesson on the brand of your choice.
Whether you are a vodka connoisseur, tequila aficionado or occasional gin drinker, there will be something there for everyone. Some of this year’s participating brands include Ozone Vodka, Pisco Porton, Java Juice, Milagro Tequila, Glenfiddich Whiskey, Conjure Cognac, Pink Pigeon Rum, Quint Sangria, Quick Strain Tinis, Partagas Cigars, Naked Juice, Joia All Natural Soda, Icelandic Water, and many more.
A sure highlight of the 2012 Spirits Festival will be the bartender competition by top rated featured bartenders from all over. Also, don’t miss demonstrations by executive chefs from leading local restaurants. Participating chefs include: Katherine Humphus of BO-beau kitchen and bar, Karl A. Prohaska of Handerly Hotel, Alberto Morreale of Fig Tree Café; Brandon Brooks of Sol Markets, Misty Birchall of PubCakes with a special presentation by Chef Tyler Stone and more.
