Latinos Makings A Difference

Introducing a new event and special section recognizing local Latino leaders

San Diego Magazine is pleased to partner with Univision San Diego on the inaugural “Latinos Making a Difference” event and special section. The program was launched earlier this week when nominations opened for awards in three unique categories: Entrepreneur of the Year, Leadership Award and Cross Border Award. Nominations will be accepted until September 2.

Following the nomination process, Univision San Diego will air interviews with each of the nominees allowing San Diego to get to know the stories behind each of these distinguished honorees. The program will culminate with an awards ceremony on October 10, 2013 at Procopio and the November issue of San Diego Magazine will reveal the winners to the public.

Program Timeline:

  • Nominate a Latino leader by September 2.
  • Watch interviews with the nominees on Univision San Diego in October.
  • Celebrate with us at the awards ceremony on October 10.
  • Read about the nominees and award recipients in the November issue.
