Party like an Olympian

Kick-off the Summer 2012 Olympics at the U.S.S. Midway viewing party, July 27th.

It's time for the Summer Olympics, and what better way to show your patriotism than to watch the opening ceremony from our very own U.S.S. Midway! That's right--you are invited to bring your friends and family for a night out on the Navy Pier, interlocking rings and all.

The FREE party is scheduled to start at 6:30pm on July 27th out on the flight deck amidst two giant screens, which will turn on at 7:30pm for the big event.

This wouldn't be a real Olympic party without the athletes themselves, right? We're looking forward to seeing the U.S. BMX team off before they leave for London, but only after we have a Kodak Moment with the Olympic torch.

The kids will have plenty to do while you sample the British cuisine: letting loose in the YMCA activity zone may only be topped by juggling with the 2012 Paralympic Soccer Team.

We suggest bringing lightweight lawn chairs for comfy viewing on the flight deck.

Support our local teams and athletes on the last Friday of July by launching America's quest for the Olympic Gold!
