We want your vote!

How It Works

Listen to the Your Song submissions on the right and vote below for your favorite. You may only vote once per day.

Three finalists will be selected: the person with the highest amount of votes, San Diego Magazine's choice, as well as Sophie Radio's pick. These finalists will then perform at the Best of San Diego® Party on August 28th, where a panel of judges will decide the winner.

Timeline

Submissions: May 1st-June 30th
Voting: July 1st-31st
Top 3 finalists announced: August 4th
Winner announced: August 28th at the Best of San Diego Party

Build yourself a fan page with a music file of your song and ask your friends to become your fan. Once you have accumulated your fan base, send us a link and we will add it to your total votes. Deadline for submission is July 31st.

One of the premeire recording studios in San Diego, Golden Track Studios will be producing the winners single in their state of the art studios. Need help with recording your contest submission? Golden Track Studios is offering special pricing to record your demo, exclusively for the Your Song Contest participants.

Prize Package

» Top three finalists will perform at our Best of San Diego® Party and receive 4 VIP tickets to the event.

» Winner will receive a full page profile in San Diego Magazine and will be promoted throughout the San Diego Magazine online platforms.

» Golden Track Studios and Traa from P.O.D., owner of Ryot Entertainment , will produce the winning song.

» Sophie 103.7 will promote the winner, including an in-studio performance on Sophie’s Lounge Segment and inclusion on RadioSophie.com.
