WE'VE GOT A NEW TRAVEL PARTNER. Jeffrey Lehmann is creator and host of Weekend Explorer. His highly rated and award-winning TV show airs nationally on 210 Public Broadcasting stations. The syndicated program, which chronicles Lehmann's adventures all over the world, caters to an affluent audience that likes to have fun.

Sounds like a magazine we know.

Weekend Explorer and Travels are, as of this issue, a team. During this, the show's third season in nearly every United States TV market, Travels will be presented as a sponsor of the show. And in future issues of Travels, you'll be able to check in on what's happening on Weekend Explorer. The synergy is boundless.

Energetic and enthusiastic, Lehmann is a born traveler. At 14, unique circumstances landed him in Europe with passport and Eurail pass in hand. For three months, he explored. Daily postcards home became popular with his mother's circle of friends. A correspondent was hatched. While still in college, Lehmann started a travel agency. That led to guided trips, photography and finally video and film.
