Sea World

Pirates 4-D is a surprise-filled comic tale of a hapless pirate crew and its wacky captain. At Shipwreck Rapids you'll scream and shout as you tumble through rapids, whirl under waterfalls and drift alongside turtles. Wild Arctic explodes with the sights and sounds of polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. It's all new. And only at SeaWorld, where adventure is always on the edge.

General Information: Open daily at 10 a.m. fall, winter and spring. Open 9 a.m. mid-June to Labor Day. Closing time varies. Call 800-25-SHAMU for show schedules and general park information.

Driving: Exit SeaWorld Drive west from Interstate 5. SeaWorld is located approximately 10 minutes from the San Diego International Airport and 2 hours from Los Angeles International Airport. 500 Sea World Dr.

Parking: $10 for cars, $6 for motorcycles, $15 for RVs. Buses and bicycles are free. Preferred parking available (seasonal). Pet Facility located at parking lot entrance. $6 all day pet kennels available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Food: Shipwreck Reef Cafe serves grilled meat and seafood, tropical salads and incredible deserts. Fine Italian cuisine can be found at Mama Stella's Italian Kitchen where chef's prepare several types of pasta daily. In addition kiosks and cafeterias featuring a range of menu items are available throughout the park.

Merchandise: Wide selection of gifts, clothing, toys and souvenirs available at shops throughout the park.

Rentals: Strollers and wheelchairs can be rented inside the park behind the Reservation Center. Coin-operated lockers are also available for rent inside and outside the park.

Group Information:To book a group event or to make reservations for a group arrival please call (619) 226-3845. Private picnics, night parties and group tours are also available.

Credit Cards: SeaWorld accepts VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express and JCB for park admission, merchandise and the following restaurants: Shipwreck Reef Cafe, Mama Stella's, Hospitality Deli, and Plaza Bakery.
