Hillcrest

Hillcrest is an eclectic mix of restaurants, coffeehouses, nightclubs and medical offices. A vibrant shopping scene is also one of big draws. Its hub of University of 5th is lively any time of the day, any day of the week. Nearly 30,000 call Hillcrest home, many subscribing to an alternative lifestyle, as Hillcrest hosts the largest concentration of gay and lesbians in San Diego. It is host to the annual Gay Pride Parade.
