The Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego (234-1001) has a branch gallery at Kettner and Broadway, across the trolley tracks from One America Plaza. It’s easily recognizable; there’s always a monumental piece of art at the entrance. For a while it was a 30-foot robot swinging a hammer; then came the remnants of a crashed airplane.  www.mcasd.com
