	Starry Night's Dream Voices for Children held Starry, Starry Night, 2009 at philanthropist and honorary chairwoman Joan Waitt's La Jolla estate. The event kicked off with food from Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille followed by silent and live auctions. And the color pink played a signature role - from the flowers, to the sunset and even the name of the band, Pink Martini. San Diego's culinary giants battled centerstage before a hungry crowd that enjoyed food prepared by local area restaurants. Showdown proceeds will be used to increase domestic violence awareness. 	Sophie 103.7 Birthday Bash at the Sé San Diego Hotel On Saturday, June 27, the Sè San Diego Hotel was the place to be to celebrate Sophie 103.7’s second birthday in grand style with a poolside VIP wine-tasting party. Guests enjoyed fabulous hors d’oeuvres and were treated to appearances by Mat Kearney and Sugar Ray, along with a special acoustic performance by Angel Taylor, with all proceeds benefiting the San Diego Oceans Foundation.
