Scripps Health is a $1.6 billion, nonprofit healthcare system based in San Diego. Scripps treats 478,000 patients annually through its dedicated staff of more than 2,600 affiliated physicians and 10,300 employees across five hospital campuses, an ambulatory-care network of clinics, physician offices, outpatient centers and home healthcare services. Scripps is the largest provider of cardiac care in San Diego. With a comprehensive range of cardiac programs and services, Scripps invested more than $6 million last year in new technology for cardiology.

Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine blends allopathic care with evidence-based complementary treatments and therapies. The center offers personalized lifestyle change programs for cardiac care, pain management, cancer care, weight management and stress reduction along with treatments and therapies that include healing touch, massage, biofeedback, acupuncture, yoga, cold laser therapy and diathermy.

The Whittier Institute for Diabetes stands alone as the San Diego region’s leading comprehensive organization for diabetes. It provides resources for innovative diabetes research, education and patient care and is home to the nationally award-winning Project Dulce.

Scripps Cancer Center unites clinicians, scientists and healthcare professionals from throughout the Scripps system to create a powerful cancer resource in San Diego County.
