On the eve of Barack Obama’s inauguration, some 1,200 people gathered at Golden Hall for the 21st annual Martin Luther King Jr. All People’s Breakfast, which featured a keynote address by Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center. The program also included a rousing performance by the Signing Choir of San Diego and speeches by local activists Andrea Guerrero and Gregory Knoll.
