Three’s a crowd? Justin Timberlake, who recently split from Cameron Diaz, holed up at Hotel Solamar during the San Diego stop of his FutureSex/LoveSounds world tour at the iPayOne Center. Actress Jessica Biel (Seventh Heaven) watched the concert from backstage while sipping Stella Artois beer. Biel reportedly tried to crash the concert after-party but was denied entry. Timberlake’s rumored to be canoodling with actress Scarlet Johansson.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. was spotted at Stingaree the day after his stepmother questioned his commitment to NASCAR in The New York Times. He drank from Budweiser bottles, but ordered Grey Goose and an array of mixers for a group of ladies in tow. Dubbed NASCAR’s most eligible bachelor, Earnhardt sported an orange camouflage trucker hat embroidered with his race number: 8.
Jamie Foxx—and an entourage of 25—turned up at Confidential after Foxx opened a 19-city tour promoting his new album, Unpredictable, in San Diego. The comedian-turned-actor-turned-singer treated guests to Veuve Yellow Label, Belvedere and Grey Goose bottle service in a corner booth, before throwing down an impromptu set for the packed club. He was later spotted retreating to a posh suite at the Westgate Hotel.
After receiving a warm welcome on Little Italy’s India Street, Tommy Lasorda sat down to a late lunch with his daughter and son-in-law. The trio dined at the Busalacchi family–owned Trattoria Fantastica, one of the former Dodgers manager’s favorite local spots. (He loves the capellini pomodoro.) He made a repeat visit to Little Italy soon after to dine with buddy and Padres general manager Kevin Towers at Po Pazzo—another Busalacchi joint.
Tennis talent Andre Agassi and equally talented wife Steffi Graf flew in from Las Vegas to help promote the Fairmount Tamarack (a Donnelly, Idaho, luxury condo-hotel to be completed in 2009). The reception took place at a newly listed $17 million home in Rancho Santa Fe. Agassi retired after the 2006 U.S. Open and has since partnered with his wife to form Agassi Graf Development.
