Cool Shades
These table lamps with attitude shed a whole new light on illumination. Designed by Chad Jacobs and available only at Modera in Del Mar Plaza, each lamp takes its cue—and name—from nature. Check out the Caterpillar, which combines interlocking stacked acrylic discs with a styrene diffuser and steel wire-form frame, or the Cocoon, with a sandblasted blown-glass globe nestled in a steel wire-form stand.
