DIANNE YORK-GOLDMAN SAYS one of her life’s greatest accomplishments is her continued success at helping others improve their self-image.

An acclaimed model and actress, published author and president and chief executive officer of La Jolla Spa MD—a center that combines rejuvenation procedures with traditional spa therapies—York-Goldman is a role model, a spokeswoman for healthy living and a self-proclaimed confidence booster.

La Jolla Spa MD has been a culmination of her successes since its inception in 2002 when she and husband Dr. Mitchel Goldman, a practicing dermatologist, founded the company. Their purpose was to enhance a client’s appearance by offering cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, relaxation treatments and legendary customer service.

“Every person who comes through the door has one thing in common, and that’s to look or feel better,” says York- Goldman. “They’re greeted with a smile and treated like royalty. Sometimes that’s all it takes.”

The recently expanded facility provides a wide range of spa and medical services, from facials to facelifts. With 42 lasers for treatments to remove hair, wrinkles and acne, and eight world-renowned physicians on staff, La Jolla Spa MD has earned itself the reputation and the title of Top Medical Spa by American Spa magazine for the past two years.

York-Goldman is as equally focused on enhancing outer beauty as she is on encouraging clients to nourish their inner confidence. Founder of You Glow Girl, a teenage skin care company, and author of Fun in the Sun Safely and three additional titles, she teaches young girls about the importance of skin care and beauty.
