After completion of a university/hospital-based residency in prosthodontics, Dr. Vakili earned her certificate from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh (the first dental implant center in the United States). She started her dental practice in Solana Beach and has been serving her community since 1991. Dr. Vakili offers patients the latest modalities in implant therapies to free them from removable dentures; her services include full-mouth rehabilitation to rejuvenate and reestablish the proper facial aesthetic height, advanced surgical and nonsurgical treatments of periodontal disease, TMJ diagnosis and treatments and advanced cosmetic techniques.

In most cases, her patients enjoy these latest techniques in the safety and comfort of sedation dentistry. “Prosthodontists are like the plastic surgeons of dentistry,” says Dr. Vakili. “We enhance, beautify and reconstruct your smile.”
