First Leggings, Now Jeggings? |

Denim leggings are all the rage
First there were leggings and now jeggings?
Jeggings are a denim version of the legging — tight, stretchy, and fitted to the body. I was very curious about this new type of pant and had many questions. Is it forgiving on the figure? Will it stand up to many wears? Most importantly, will people buy them?
Well, people are crazy for these pants! Everywhere I turn, someone has them on. I personally love leggings, especially throwing them on with my boots and a long top, or wearing them under my dresses. They’re easy, simple and a bit Audrey to me. But could I do jeggings too? I was still on the fence about them, so I started researching these pants and was pleasantly surprised.
Here’s what I found and wanted to share with you. They’re fantastic for providing a chic alternative to your standard tight jeans and boots look. There’s no overflow of denim material, they fit snug to the body and end right at the ankle, so they’re a boot’s new BFF. You can slide your boots right over them without having to stuff your jeans down into your boot and hope that the bulge of your jean is not showing. You don’t have to just wear boots with this new pant — they’re adorable with heels and flats too!
Jeggings zip just like a jean, some have pockets, and some do not. The more I thought about it, the more I thought this is genius! You get the structure of a jean with the comfort of a legging. Hello, where have you been all my life? The jegging is very trendy right now, available in many styles and with embellishments, but you can find a basic denim jegging and rock those for years to come.
Now on my list of must-haves for my clients — jeggings!
