All Aboard!

Agenda

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park hosts an afternoon for families Feb. 18, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., to commemorate the Presidents Day weekend. Kids can listen to “Abe Lincoln” spin yarns next to exhibits equipped with presidential railcars. Interactive activities, snacks and refreshments are provided with the $6 admission fee (children under 15 admitted free). The mission of the museum is to “preserve the heritage of railroading through a series of miniature representations of California railroads, research and preserve the history of model railroading, and educate the public in the many different aspects of railroading.” 1649 El Prado, 619-696-0199; sdmrm.org.
