Las Patronas introduced six new members at a luncheon at La Jolla Country Club. The women, who dubbed themselves “the six-pack,” are Annette Bradbury, Michele Coleman, Jena Joyce, Melinda Mahony, Kathy Malaney and Dawn Maywood. Las Patronas also announced the total money raised by the 2008 Jewel Ball, “Speakeasy” ($1,215,258). Next year’s ball, themed “Silk & Spice: A Passage to India,” is August 8.
