Lighting the Fire

Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County and president/CEO Paul Palmer hosted the 46th annual Gourmet Dinner, “Ignite a Dream,” at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. The fund-raiser, which supports the BBBS mission of providing mentors to local kids, kicked off with sea food and cocktails and featured a cigar-and-brandy after-party. Rick Valencia was named “Man of the Year.” Greg Anton was dinner chair; Ted Leitner emceed.
