Championing the Cause

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mayor Jerry Sanders and Rana Sampson were honorary chairs of Child Abuse Prevention Foundation’s annual Chefs & Champions for Kids benefit at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Honorary committee members included Adrienne Wells Castaneda, Ronne Froman, Linda and Michael Rivkin, Bonnie Dumanis, Rebecca and Craig Irving, and Jeannie and Arthur Rivkin. Local restaurants served up gourmet bites to guests, who gathered to honor the 2008 Champions: Supervisor Greg Cox, Bill Southwell, Abbigail Kiefer and Kendra Harvey and Bridgepoint Education.
