Do you include live theater in your Best of San Diego voting? I just saw The Wizard of Oz at The Coronado Playhouse and it was so enjoyable my cheeks hurt from smiling. The venue is lovely and intimate, the prices reasonable and the talent spectacular! Please nominate this secret jewel as one of San Diego's best!

We were in San Diego for a long week end and walking in down town area we asked one guy looked local and which is good restaurant for dinner he told us few but we picked Royal India Exquisite Indian restaurant because Indian food is our favorite.

At Royal India we experienced friendly atmosphere, fantastic ambiance, nice hostess, good Indian food we ordered Chicken tikka masala and mango pineapple curry with garlic nan simply the best food during our visit to San Diego. I would say the best food of our trip in California. The curries were flavorful and the bread was soft.

The two owners are really nice to customers and created a friendly atmosphere. Food was served quickly and presented very well. Good Indian mojito made with Indian rum.

I suggest to experience this restaurant as a unexpected jewel in the heart of a nice and sophisticated Gaslamp area of San Diego.
