Starry Night's DreamVoices for Children held Starry, Starry Night, 2009 at philanthropist and honorary chairwoman Joan Waitt's La Jolla estate. The event kicked off with food from Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille followed by silent and live auctions. And the color pink played a signature role - from the flowers, to the sunset and even the name of the band, Pink Martini. Event proceeds will be used to help Voices for Children advocate for the rights and well-being of San Diego’s abused children. |
