45th Annual National Philanthropy Day Celebration

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) San Diego Chapter, is hosting its annual National Philanthropy Day celebration on November 14, 2017, beginning at 10 a.m. 2017 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall. Nominations close June 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Each November, AFP celebrates National Philanthropy Day by recognizing the critical role philanthropy plays in our society and honors those who make the greatest difference in strengthening our community. The community is invited to nominate an individual or company that has made a positive impact on our community by their donation of time, talent or treasure. A focus on leadership, impact and inclusion will guide this year’s selections. Nomination Categories: Outstanding Philanthropist; Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer; Outstanding Organizational Volunteer; Outstanding Grant Making Organization; Outstanding Philanthropic Business or Corporation; Outstanding Development Professional and Outstanding Youth/Student Volunteer. Honorees will be selected by a volunteer committee chaired by Neville Billimoria of Mission Federal Credit Union.
