It Takes Two: Giant Mural at Art San Diego

Published:

With different strokes, artists Jason Botkin and Kevin Ledo will start painting at opposite ends of a 10-foot by 32-foot canvas on opening day of Art San Diego, Contemporary Art Fair. Four days later, the artists will meet in the middle, combining their individual techniques to create one cohesive masterpiece. Botkin and Ledo are members of the En Masse project, which invites artists from the worlds of graffiti, comics, and illustration to collaborate on murals around the world. At our local festival, will Kevin’s love of mysticism and Jason’s expertise in black and white merge seamlessly? And will they work at the same pace? Come watch the art unfold, and see other interactive ArtLabs, Sept. 1-4 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. artsandiego-fair.com
