Hawai'i's Fall Bounty
At one time or another, most Hawai‘i residents get the inevitable question—do the islands have seasons? Discovering the answer is just one more reason to book a visit to Hawai‘i in the fall. From hikes in the hills and whale-watching expeditions to festivals and events that celebrate the season, the islands come alive in the fall months with a distinctly autumnal flavor.
DIVING IN ON MAUI
See the deep blue waters of Hawai‘i, and the desire to follow in the footsteps of famed explorer and ecologist Jacques Cousteau takes hold. Thanks to Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua’s Ambassadors of the Environment (AOTE) program, guests can do exactly that. Created by Cousteau’s son, Jean-Michel, and the Ocean Futures Society in conjunction with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, AOTE allows participants to enter a world beneath the sea, as well as experience Hawai‘i’s natural surroundings through the eyes of local naturalists and cultural advisers.
