Where

Start at the trailhead on Montezuma Valley Road near the intersection with Palm Canyon Drive in Borrego Springs. Head out to Maidenhair Falls and back.

Why We Love It

Despite its name, the canyon is beautiful and serene. Go after the weather has cooled. The incline on this hike isn’t too steep, making it a good option for beginners.

 

Where to Refuel

Get buttermilk pancakes, Benedicts, quinoa salads, and BLTs at Red Ocotillo (721 Avenida Sureste, Borrego Springs)
