The San Diego Color Run 5K

It’s no double rainbow, but it’s just as colorful—and random. The starting line is a sea of white t-shirts and, by the end of this 5K race around Qualcomm Stadium on November 3, the finish line looks like a tie-dye convention. Color Run volunteers and sponsors splatter paint on the runners at five different color zones throughout the course—it’s all 100 percent natural and non-toxic. And like any good 5K, there’s a huge party at the end. What’s the point? Organizers say it’s just for fun. And proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. $50 to register, or $45 each for a team of four or more. thecolorrun.com/sandiego
