The Most Unscientific Research Study of the Month

Published:

America’s Manliest City? We ranked 49th out of 50 in a recent study. Cities were judged on professional sports teams, number of chicken wing restaurants, and pick-up trucks registered. (What, no points for all our surfers and military men?) San Diego lost points in the “Manly Kryptonite Category,” with our emasculatingly high number of businesses below.

80

cupcake stores and bakeries

383

home furninshing/décor stores and interior design companies

266

sushi restaurants

530

coffee and tea shops

149

places to practice pilates

*We unscientifically gathered the numbers from yelp.com.
**Combos partnered with Sperling’s BestPlaces for this study.
