Bill Hoehn was honorary chair of Safari by the Sea, an African safari-meets-Pacific surf-theme gala at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad. Eddie Maldonado was master of ceremonies; Bill Menish was auctioneer. Katie Anderson and Viola Wheelihan were steering committee cochairs.
