Dwell magazine, the design pub for anyone that feels “at home in the modern world,” has featured several super-sleek SD residences over the years. This month, Dwell Home Tours will showcase 10 of them and host a reception with their architects. Safdie Rabines Architects, whose Harbor Drive bridge was featured in the magazine, has a stop on the tour with Casa Diagonal (pictured), “a geometric house that rises dramatically above the Pacific and is bisected by a horizontal plane of windows,” says Dwell editor Erika Heet. “It must be seen in person to be believed.” November 10–11. dht.dwell.com
