Women Who Move The City Party

La Costa Resort & Spa, September 2012

Published:

More than 600 guests gathered at the beautiful La Costa Resort & Spa on September 18 to celebrate 130 outstanding Woman of the Year finalists at the annual Women Who Move the City Event. Attendees networked over hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, entertainment, and the 2012 Woman of the Year presentation.

A panel of judges, including winners from the past five years, selected Susan Salka of AMN Healthcare as the 2012 Woman of the Year. Her dynamic leadership is clearly demonstrated through her track record in building the nation’s largest provider of comprehensive healthcare staffing and workforce solutions. Under her direction, the company has achieved industry-leading growth and earned the number-one market position by building its reputation for placing the highest-quality clinicians with clients in San Diego and across the country. She has continuously proven herself to be an inspiration for women in business.
