MCASD transformed into a place of cinematic wonder, honoring the collaboration of art and film for its 36th annual gala. More than 300 people attended the On Screen after-party, featuring New York performance artists such as drag queen Joey Arias, who channeled and performed the songs of Billie Holiday. The event raised about $540,000 for the museum.
