The Best Week Ever: 10 Days to Celebrate Our City’s Finest Craft

It’s not your average pint night. San Diego Beer Week counts nearly 400 events over the course of 10 days as part of the city’s largest celebration of craft beer. Hosted by the San Diego Brewer’s Guild, everyone from the brewers at Alpine Beer Co. to the techies behind the Tap Hunter beer-locater iPhone app will be celebrating local brews with tastings, food pairings, beer gardens, home brewing demonstrations, and plenty of good old fashioned sipping. The festival closes with a beer garden at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, featuring a smorgasbord of food and beer samples (unlimited tasters!) served up by the city’s best chefs and restaurants. Visit sdbw.org for a full schedule of events. // TREVOR COX
