Sharon Lawrence, president and CEO of local nonprofit Voices for Children, was honored as Woman of the Year at San Diego Magazine’s third annual Women Who Move the City event on September 24 at Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. Radio host Monique Marvez was on hand to emcee, and joined in celebrating with some of San Diego’s most influential female leaders.
