Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines

The fun shines bright at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines this summer. From Seaside Summer family-friendly activities at the resort to exploring San Diego’s many attractions, there is plenty to entertain the entire family from sun up to sun down. Stay for a 3-day weekend and create the story of your summer with this exciting itinerary.

Day 1

Grab your Seaside Summer Activity Guide from the Concierge upon arrival at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. Weekends are stacked with fun including: Poolside Popsicle Happy Hour, Lemonade with the Concierge, Bubbles and Bubbly, Movie Night, Under the Sea Crafts, and more. Once you’ve checked into your guest room, step outside onto your private balcony or patio and take in the picturesque views of the world-famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and the Pacific Ocean. Next, uncork a memory at Torreyana Lounge during happy hour, then enjoy a delicious dinner with the family on the terrace where the kids will eat for free with the purchase of an adult entrée. End the day relaxing by the fire pits with a breathtaking sunset – Don’t forget to snap a picture and share your #TorreyMemories! Make sure to get a good night’s rest because day two’s agenda is full of sea, sun and sand.

Day 2

Wake up and indulge in your inner foodie at Torreyana Grille’s breakfast buffet. Once the family is fueled up, head out to explore the scenic trails at Torrey Pines State Reserve, only a 10-minute walk from the resort. Situated high above Torrey Pines State Beach, the cliffside hiking trails offer stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Follow a trail that leads you to the beach and sink your toes in the sand. After you’ve made a splash in the ocean, head back to the resort and unwind in a private oversized cabana by the outdoor heated pool and whirlpool overlooking the 18th Fairway. Next up, take advantage of Bubbles and Bubbly, $5 champagne for adults and pool bubbles for the kids, followed by Movie Night with Arts and Crafts starting at 7:30 p.m.

Day 3

Grab a coffee and a quick bite while you take in the view at Horizons Coffee Café. The golfers in the family can hit the links with exclusive daily golf tee times for guests at Torrey Pines Golf Course, hailed by Golf Digest as "one of the top 50 golf destinations in the world.” The rest of the family can head to La Jolla Cove to say hello to the seals and sea lions, or discover La Jolla's famous coastal cliffs, sea caves, and Underwater Park by kayak. Interested in learning more about sea life? Head to Birch Aquarium at Scripps to find over 5,000 fish in 60+ aquarium habitats all overlooking the ocean. Take the scenic route back to the resort by driving to the top of Mt. Soledad for expansive, 360-degree views of San Diego.
