Where

Start by taking the Mission Trails Visitor Center Loop at Mission Gorge Road and Jackson Drive. Then turn left on the paved Father Junipero Serra Trail.

Rolling green hills and red-rock cliffs

 

Why We Love It

The paved trail is great for a fast run or bike ride through open space. It’s also good for strolls.

 

Where to Refuel

Pick from several specialty pizzas, like the Mt. Veggiemore, meaty Pike’s Peak, or the gluten-free options at Mountain Mike’s Pizza (7377 Jackson Drive, San Carlos).
