Oceana Coastal Kitchen’s Grand Opening

Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa, March 4, 2015

Around 200 attendees took in breathtaking bayside views while celebrating Pacific Beach’s newest waterfront dining at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa. The party featured lavish seafood stations including oysters, fresh sushi, king crab legs, and more. Guests sipped Oceana Coastal Kitchen’s mai tais, daiquiris, and margaritas while enjoying live music by San Diego artist Robin Henkel. With a $2.1 million reinvention, the 8,200-square-foot restaurant features multiple dining areas ranging from casual to upscale, including a firepit-warmed bayside patio and a quartz-topped cold bar embedded with mother-of-pearl and sea glass. An impressive 800-gallon aquarium is home to fluorescent tropical jellyfish, while a sliding window fully opens to show unobstructed views of Mission Bay.
