Stone Brewing Co. + Waypoint Public’s Amanda Baumgarten
The executive chef is gaining a reputation as one heck of a homebrewer. Now Stone Brewing Co. is giving Top Chef alum Baumgarten the opportunity to brew her own recipe, the Apricots and Arbol Saison (brewed with apricots, chile de arbol, juniper berry, savory, and vanilla pods), on the 10-barrel system at its Liberty Station outpost.

Amplified Ale Works + Weight of the Sun
The local band’s full-length debut album drops this month and on May 22, they’re hosting a CD release party at Amplified Ale Works’ Pacific Beach brewpub. For a small fee, you can sample the commemorative beer, “Weight of the Saison,” get a copy of the CD, t-shirt, pint of beer, and take-home glass.

Automatic Brewing Co. + Dark Horse Coffee
It’s an Adams Avenue thing. Located inside Blind Lady Ale House, Automatic Brewing paired up with the local coffee roaster to create the Dark Horse Stout. Using Molokai Hawaii and Rwanda coffee beans, the beer is dry and chocolate-y with light smokiness. Look for the whiskey barrel-aged version at Blind Lady Ale House.
