  1. Crepes Bonaparte: Hitting the streets May 17 is the fab food truck with crêpe makers custom-imported from France. Follow them @CrepesBSanDiego.

  2. Toast Enoteca & Cucina: Their most recent seasonal menu debuts a dozen new items, including lasagna bianca. In their just-launched retail wine shop, you can get dine-in bottles with just a $7 corkage fee.

  3. Imig’s Kitchen & Bar: Lafayette Hotel’s new lobby resto, designed by Bells & Whistles—the folks who did Starlite—is open in North Park.

  4. Vintana: Attention, car shoppers: Deborah Scott’s California modern cuisine is now being served on the third floor of the Centre at Lexus Escondido.

  5. 100 Wines: Hillcrest will welcome oenophiles with by-the-glass and by-the-bottle buys (in $10 increments).

  6. The Red Door: San Diego native Miguel Valdez is the new executive chef. His next Chef’s Market Dinner is June 20.

  7. Miguel’s Cocina Carlsbad: Raise a marg at the sixth location to open in SD, end of April.

  8. Counter Burger: Delayed. Again. The new downtown location is aiming for a June open.

  9. Westfield North County: The former North County Fair in Escondido will have a new dining court and full-service restos by December ($55 million redevelopment).

  10. Gabardine: Malarkey’s crew is now flipping Swordburgers in Point Loma.
