The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of San Diego County hosted the 2009 Women of Dedication luncheon, “The Power of Purses,” at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Karen Miller was event chair. Former NBC 7/39 anchor Bill Menish presented the honorees: Lydia Bustos, Jo Cormier, Ann Lipscomb Hill, Mary Montgomery Johnson, Roxi Link, Sylvia Lurie, Toni Woodward Nickell, Susan Mack Oliver, Joan Reavis, Louarn Sorkin, Katie Sullivan, Jan Tuttleman, Rita Waters, Judy White and Faye Williams.
