Where:

Start at the visitor center at 2688 East Mission Bay Drive and head north to Grand Avenue. Run up Lamont Street past Kate Sessions Park, then follow Soledad Road, Soledad Mountain Road, and La Jolla Scenic Drive until you reach the top.

Why We Love It:

This is a steep and challenging run or bike ride up Mount Soledad, but the view from the top is a fantastic reward for your effort.

Where to Refuel Afterward:

Try brunch or lunch at Barefoot Bar & Grill inside the Paradise Point Resort (1404 Vacation Road) for bayside dining or The Menu (3784 Ingraham Street) for a more low-key post-sweat sesh.
