What’s at Stake

Coronado’s modern Stake Chophouse + Bar (critic's pick for best steakhouse) has no use for the mahogany, leather-boothed steakhouse cliché. The team is phenomenal, its members alumni of A.R. Valentien, Tom Colicchio’s Craft Restaurant, and Bottega Louie. For food, expect oysters and raw seafood, steak tartare, whole roasted Hawaiian halibut, lamb chops, Kobe and American Wagyu, dry-aged steaks, and a 1,500-strong wine list.
