America’s largest pipe organ, the Spreckels Organ, will be singing all summer. The 25th Annual Summer International Organ Festival invites world-renowned organists to play in Balboa Park every Monday, June 25–August 27.

Three new programs give first-time painters liquid courage

1. Ditch the book club and try a girls’ night at PaintNVineyard. Bring a bottle and some bottled up creativity to a weeknight class at the new Scripps Ranch studio and leave with a wine-inspired work of art. // COP

2. Weekly Wine & Canvas classes at wine bars and restos throughout the county ask you to tap into your inner artist while sipping on some spirited inspiration. // COP

3. The new Art Uncorked series offers three-hour classes taught by professional artists in hip, local wine-serving establishments. All art supplies and instruction are provided to duplicate masterworks by the likes of Matisse, Van Gogh, and Klimt. You bring the talent. // JM
