The National Conflict Resolution Center’s 25th anniversary Peacemaker Awards at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina recognized local and national crisis-resolving organizations, including International Rescue Committee as well as San Diego’s own El Centro Cultural de la Raza. IRC board members Robert Carey and Jennifer Brokaw, daughter of TV newsman Tom Brokaw, attended the program, organized by Laura Walcher and Sue Kalish and honorary chairs Arthur and Molli Wagner.
