Weekend Getaways

Published:

From the Argyle Hotel in West Hollywood to La Casa del Zorro in Borrego Springs, we sought out an eclectic mix of places to go for a couple of days. The calming effect of getting away from it all was apparent at Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe. We also tapped Dana Point, Santa Monica and West Hollywood, and put in a visit to the new Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, built on a Native American reservation near Albuquerque. Oh, and we accidentally discovered a nude Rodney Dangerfield in the Jacuzzi at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Whatever your taste, you should be able to find a weekender that fits your needs on the following pages.
