Married couple Debra and Scott Salyer of boutique audio company Wrensilva are taking music listening to the next level. Their latest creation is the Studio One record player. Equal parts mid-century throwback and modern electronic, it’s the result of this North Park duo’s varied skill sets. He’s a former recording studio owner; she studied clothing design. Together they create sleek, hi-fi sound.

The Studio One ($6,900) is handcrafted out of walnut or rift white oak, with a fully decoupled, belt-driven turntable and built-in vinyl storage pocket, plus a “room-shaking” amp, extended-range Bluetooth capability, and other high-tech features. Now that’s style—amplified!
