At the Hotel del Coronado, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts hosted its 17th annual Butterfly Ball, which supports Fresh Start’s mission of giving free reconstructive surgery to disadvantaged kids with deformities. The Allergan Foundation was presenting sponsor; other major supporters included Audrey Geisel/San Diego Foundation and Charles Cono. Fresh Start founder Dr. Dennis Nigro was honored. Other attendees included Julie and Dale Yahnke, Kathy and Scotty Cameron, and Sheri and Dr. Stephen Cohen.
