Helping Hands

Local philanthropists and volunteers were honored at the National Philanthropy Day Celebration, hosted by the San Diego chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. Channel 10 anchor Carol LeBeau was emcee. Honorees included Vi and Dan McKinney, Kaye and Richard Woltman, Melia Plotkin, Toni Woodward Nickell, Suzy Spafford and Arthur T. Stillwell. The Legler Benbough Foundation, Target Corporation and Friends of the San Diego Public Library were also recognized.
