Former U.S. surgeon general Dr. Joycelyn Elders was keynote speaker at a private fund-raiser for the National Disease Clusters Alliance at the home of NDCA board chair Scott Burdman. Among attendees: NDCA executive director Dee Lewis; Trevor Smith, cancer survivor and founder of Trevor’s Trek; Lisa and Steve Altman; and Vanessa and Matt Wilhelm.
